Young Alumni of the Year: Noor ul-ain S. Hasan β20 (Vol. 108)
Noor-ul-ain S. Hasan is an associate at Bartlit Beck LLP, a licensed diversity, equity, and inclusion management strategist, and the co-founder/co-director of the Muslim Judicial Law Clerkships Network. Her work on judicial procedure and inequality is forthcoming in the University of Louisville Law Review and has been published in the Gonzaga Law Review. Previously, she served as a law clerk to Judge Matthew F. Kennelly of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and to Judge Robert L. Wilkins of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. She earned a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the California Law Review and directed the Coalition for Diversity Academic Empowerment Program, a peer-to-peer academic and community-building initiative for 1L students of color. She currently serves on the Northwestern University Alumni Admissions Council, the Islamic Scholarship Fund Law Advisory Council, and the California Law Review Alumni Council. She earned her undergraduate degree in English and Legal Studies, with a minor in Asian American Studies, from Northwestern University.
Noor has remained a crucial member of the CLR community even after graduating. She has been a tireless resource who has provided insight into all aspects of running CLR, and has spearheaded alumni engagement and fundraising efforts.
